Dr Justin Low
MBBS FRACGP National Director of Vasectomy Services
Justin received his medical degree from the University of Sydney in 1987 and completed the RACGP Family Medicine Program (FMP) in 1991. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1993. He received a Certificate of Recognition from the Australian Teleservices Association in 2012 for his work in telemedicine and has had extensive surgical and emergency medicine experience in the hospital system.
Justin is an experienced vasectomy surgeon performing over 1000 vasectomies a year across Australia and has performed over 8000 vasectomies to date. He presents to General Practice groups regularly around the country on the topic of vasectomy and has been interviewed on ABC Radio National, Sydney Morning Herald “Good Weekend”, Men’s Health Magazine and Channel 9’s “Today” morning show.
His current role is National Director of Vasectomy Services at Marie Stopes Australia which involves education, training and maintaining vasectomy surgical standards across the country.

Dr Michael Beckett
Michael received his medical degree from University of Western Australia in 2003 and completed the Diploma of Children’s Health in 2006, Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2007 and Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery in 2010. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2009 and completed vasectomy training through “Advanced Surgical Procedures” course at UWA in 2010. He has had extensive surgical and emergency medicine experience in the hospital system. He has been performing vasectomies for over 10 years now and is an experienced vasectomy surgeon performing over 1000 vasectomies a year across Perth.
Dr Gary Beckhurst
Gary received his medical degree from Melbourne University in 1977 and completed the Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RANZCOG) in 1980 and Certificate of Family Planning (Cert AFFPA) in 1981. He has had extensive experience in Gynaecological Surgery and all aspects of Family Planning in his 40 years of experience as a doctor including managing pregnancies and delivering over 1400 babies. He is a very experienced vasectomy surgeon having performed thousands of vasectomies over a period in excess of 35 years.

George received his medical degree from University of Sheffield UK in 2009 graduating with Honours. He received a Certificate of Specialist Skills in Vasectomy and Associate Membership of the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health, UK in 2016, Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners [RACGP] in 2015, Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners, UK [MRCGP] in 2014, a Diploma of Child Health [DCH], UK in 2012 and a Diploma of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists [DRCOG], UK 2012. He has had extensive surgical and emergency medicine experience in the hospital system. He is an experienced vasectomy surgeon now performing over 1000 vasectomies a year across Perth.
Dr Marcel Kalau
Marcel received his medical degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2011, Diploma of Child Health in 2013 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017. He also holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the University of Western Australia. Marcel has had extensive experience in the area of sexual and reproductive health and has worked for the Victorian AIDS council and the WHO in Geneva. He is an experienced vasectomy surgeon who performs over 800 vasectomies a year in Victoria, Canberra and Perth.

Matthew received his medical degree from Adelaide University in 2010 receiving the Paediatric Surgery prize and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014. Throughout his training Matthew gained extensive surgical skills across a wide range of surgical specialties. He is a highly experienced and trusted vasectomy surgeon performing over 1000 vasectomies a year across NSW. Matthew is committed to ensuring that each vasectomy he performs is as painless and simple as possible. Matthew is a keen sportsman with particular interests in Soccer and bodyboarding.
Dr Matthew Valentine
Matthew received his medical degree from Adelaide University in 2000 and completed the ADF Aviation Medical Officer Course in 2003. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2006. He has had extensive surgical and emergency medicine experience in the hospital system and also served as a medical officer in the Royal Australian Air Force both here and overseas. He is an experienced vasectomy surgeon with his main role now being performing over 1000 vasectomies a year across QLD.
